Caribbean Charter Season Overview

The Caribbean winter season remains a favourite for both experienced charterers and those seeking warm weather between December and April.

Peak Periods

Christmas, New Year and Presidents’ Week (February) command premium rates and the highest demand. Book well in advance for these dates.

Regional Highlights

Bahamas & Exumas: Clear water, easy island-hopping and excellent for first-time charterers.
BVI: Classic sailing grounds with short distances between anchorages.
St Barts & St Martin: More sophisticated atmosphere and excellent dining ashore.

Hurricane Season

Officially June to November. Most owners move yachts or schedule maintenance then. Winter (December–April) is the prime charter window.
