Flag State & Classification

Yachts are registered under a flag state and, where applicable, classed by recognised classification societies. Safety equipment and crew certification must meet the requirements of the flag and the area of operation.

Charter Agreements

Standard forms such as MYBA and CYBA define the rights and obligations of owner, charterer and broker, including cancellation, insurance and dispute resolution.

Guest Responsibilities

• Follow crew safety instructions at all times
• Respect local laws and environmental regulations in each destination
• Declare any medical conditions or special needs in advance

Insurance

Yachts carry hull and liability insurance. Guests are strongly advised to hold personal travel and medical insurance covering maritime activities.
